Fran Abrams has been creating with polymer clay for almost 20 years. Her work is exhibited in regional and national juried solo and group shows. She has received numerous awards, including from the Creative Crafts Council and the International Polymer Clay Association. One of her pieces is in the collection of the Racine Art Museum, Racine, Wisconsin. She helped found the Betty Mae Kramer Gallery in the Silver Spring Civic Building and was the gallery's manager for two years. She is now President of Foundry Gallery in Washington, DC, an artist-run, nonprofit gallery where she shows her work each month.
