Barbara Lynn Bechthold has been working in glass and enamel since 2000. She is a member of the Enamelist Society and has spent time learning “new” techniques from the past. Grisaille and cloisonné are her current joys in enameling. Her glass work is largely done in casting which presents different challenges in the fused glass field. There is a joy in loading the kiln with raw materials and having to wait 14 hours to see if the piece comes out as planned. Chain maille allows her the opportunity to combine the glass and enamel into exciting one of a kind pieces. Lynn has been a member of the JRA since 2008 and has been a part of JRA Day every year.
